The Canals of Venice, Italy
64canals of venice
Venice is laced with gorgeous canals traversed by black gondolas. The story is that long ago Gondolas were colourful and spectacular, but this led to such rivalry and animosity amongst the Venetian nobility that the Doge decreed all gondolas to be black to put an end to this.
Venice is beautiful year round but the best time to go is February/March: before the summer hordes of tourists descend on this gem of a city and the canals start smelling a bit swampy.
Grande Canal Venice
View close to rialto Bridge, from San Polo.
Grande Canal Venice
I believe Ca Rezzonico but won't bet on it.
Santo Vidal
Santo Vidal is in thr San Marco approximately 500 yards from the grand Canal and San Marco Square.
Calle Gozzi yards from Sanat Maria Gloriosa dei Frari. Unnamed canal. (Shame, they should all have names).
Calle de Pestrino, San Marco again.
